My 2 step daughters give me flack ever time I bring something in too lol, it’s all in fun and I’m sure you’re in the same boat.

Yesterday the youngest grandson came over to hang out with me till nana got home. We went out to look at the Cabover and he got real excited! During dinner I was explaining a few things as well as answering his questions. A question about the interior came up and I explained that according to the local KW dealer, they confirmed the truck came with VIT interior. When he ask what VIT was I told him...... that’s when the laughter started lol!! My wife looked at me and started laughing, then told me I was full of it lol!! I had to show her a sales brochure listing the VIT interior before she believed me.... she’s all about grandkids and flowers lol, those trucks interest her not.... !

 

Just open the tool box and say I can take you apart...That usually keeps it calm for a day or two...LOL

 

Nothing like a pissy truck stop to welcome the new day lol sheesh this is the worst so far

 

I know that FJ, I was enjoying the humor of it.

 

Perfect job, alone in a bucket truck 18 feet away from anyone else.

 

They will never understand.

Just to bring it to light. This is a 2 speed gearbox that works with a 12 volt motor just like a 2 speed differential.

This actually bolts to the bellhousing, then the transmission bolts to the rear of this gearbox.

That’s why it has a input shaft.....

My understanding it was for a Chevy 1 ton with a 4 speed transmission.....

 

What vintage? I have never seen, or heard of that device on a Chevy. Or anything else.
