B- model would probably work well in it. Any room around the rad for the cac ?

They aren't racing per see....they looked down and wondered why they were idling down the highway!

Screw, u ever see guys pullin "a" trains out there in ur area? Saw atleast 3 single screw shakers out between ca and az today, pulling flatbed a trains. Mostly see them hauling hay during the hay season. but they all had pallets or lumber or other stuff on them. Wonder what kind of money they are making

 

Truth be told I had a brand new 3406E in an FLD120 many moons ago - that went less than 4000 miles before it ate a valve and spent a month at CAT in Casper Wyoming

I was under impressed with the quality of the yellow engine....

being partial to Detroits (new not old) - I think I am not qualified to help you make this choice but 8v or 12v (incase you need an impossible challenge)
Would sound cool
