    Try this.
Get some steaks of good quality from your local store.
Take them out of the package, wash with cold water, pat dry. Take some celery powder, or seed, mix with a small amount of sea salt, grind to a dust. Take that and nicely dust both sides of the meat. Put on a plate, cover with cheese cloth, paper towel if thats all you have, put in the middle rear of the refrigerator. Your done for now. About 12 or so hours later, flip meat. Let go another 12 hours or so. Up to 3 days. Take meat out of refrigerator at least 30 minutes prior to cooking, seasoned as you want. Once the meat is at room temp cook as desired. No A-1 or that trash, you won’t need it.

I'll try this. Under you and @Hurricane69 advise.

I've eaten it, just really scare to do it myself. Not trying to use the seatbelts on the toilet and bucket at the sametime.

Not really brother. When you figure out how to cook it yourself! You can eat well and cheap.

Say you go 140 bucks on a prime rib roast. Should get 12 servings or more.
11.66 per steak plus cooking. And yes your time. How is that expensive?

Now think about what food on the road and in the wild cost you.

I’m going to Walmart soon for that very reason, even though convenient, eating at truck stops is expensive as hell... not to mention I need more pads and cleaner for my swifter sweeper :D

You ever bread and fry a cube steak for sandwichs? Or just cube steak and mashed potatoes. I can feed a house hold for under 15 bucks.

    Simple is good to.

Not opposed to good pork chops either and dirt cheap.
