Well got my counter bores cut. Gotta wait till Tuesday for the shims to be delivered ! If it wasn't for waiting on parts it be running by now ! Oh well. Got other things to do. Have to take my cac off and have it cleaned. Pretty sure nothing went through it but playing it safe.

 

Pretty good video. Watched both. Only disagree with studding a roast with garlic. Tried a pork roast once. I like garlic. But that was too much.

But this has me thinking.... what about smoke one a hour or two, then in the hot tub to finish?

 

Well dang, @sawmill don't come around no more but either way, thank you much.! Most likely will do another one for Christmas..


So have you heard of Sous vide style cooking.? I hadn't till a few hours ago. Was wondering if that may work on a prime rib, then dunk in the fryer for a few mins to crisp the outside..?

Your smoker idea sounds better, same principle of slow cooking but alas I have no smoker..

Not that simple. Pcs could of been jamed in the cooling tubes. I ran a magnet down inside and didn't pull any pcs. Out. But that isn't going to cut it for me. Take it to local rad shop and they can pressurize it and wash it out.

 

Kinda kick round the idea of a twin turbo setup also. But if I do, ill have to dial down my programing and go with some larger squirters.

 

Mobile unit cut the bores undoubtedly, they local....?

 

Wonder if Chef Ramsay approves of the used welding glove!
