Where is everyone #5

Currently dumping beans at the bins, most of the elevators in a 40 mile radius of us are full.

The soybeans around us are running anywhere between 30-35 bu/ac. We have been hearing 20-25 bu/ac south of us. They had less rain then we did. So overall we are pretty happy with what we're getting.

 

Still nothing much happening here3 inches of rain puts a damper on things

 

I hear ya, you need the ground dry and firm to get the soybeans off the ground. Hopefully it dries up soon so you can get rolling. Does the landscape drain well where your at?

 

My buddies dad that owns the ground around my house is cutting beans up on the highway but no one else around here is in the field. Suppose to get another 2-3' tomorrow.

No trucking for me ....Mom decided to wash some windows and flipped off the ladder and broke her shoulder. On our way to pickup meds. See about getting her into ortho tomorrow but they probably won't do anything. She'll be 80 in January.

 

Yeah it does drain pretty well. Problem is it rained 24 hours straight so the ground is now completely saturated. Can't hardly walk on it without sinking in 3 inches

 

That's inches... Probably shouldn't post from my phone without glasses.

Oh geez sorry to hear that. Hopefully she makes a full recovery.
