I edited my post after I figured it out lol the place I delivered to in Pontiac had signs on every road that said “no trucks over 3 tons” and I’m over here like “is there a ####in termite infested bridge just down the street” so I circle the whole area looking for a way in, ended up not being able to turn around and almost went all the way to Detroit LMAO took me an hour longer. I should’ve trip planned that one better, not very good at going in depth and finding a source to look at a map of the area with the truck routes; however those signs were bs man, no other way in

I was on Woodward Avenue heading in the direction of Detroit, both navigation devices telling me to make an impossible u turn every intersection until I got all the way to I-696 then took I-75 back up lol there was no shoulder on that road, but your idea would’ve worked!

#10 is finished! What a page turner towards the end. This one is definitely my favourite so far. 20201204_231045.jpg

IDK....but you youngsters sure would have had it extra hard without those GPS direction devices. [oh this makes me feel evenolder] back in the day, we would spend an hour or so trip planning using our atlas and truck stop directory, figuring routes and stopping places, putting the daily plan on the windshield with a sharpie...
Boys please....in your downtime...break out the atlas and do a little home work to learn this country....it can be interesting

I didn't need to. The melody is too bland for my taste.

My pages are curled on mine and don't have any idea how old it is, but I still use it every trip. It's got me there and back a time or two.
