    Sounds familiar lol

    My favorite is the Punic Wars with Carthage and the Gallic Wars with Julius Caesar, Gaul and Germania; I always get a good laugh when I read about the part where it took the Germans a month or so to build a bridge across the Rhine and it took Caesar only 10 days

    I forgot the best part, he destroyed the bridge right after LMAO was to send a message to the Germans because they had been trying to cross the Rhine and invade Northern Gaul

    If you ever get Audible I could send you the English version of his Gallic Campaign for free, it’s his own personal accounts covering all the battles, political atmosphere back in Rome, Roman Civil War with Pompey, etc lol I thought it would be a snooze but I was definitely wrong

    I probably would’ve traded that Dr. Pepper out for something like this though lol was pretty good, haven’t tried too many dark brews
