Spent some time on the shoreline around Wells a few years ago... only place I’d consider up there...Tug Toy, 1951 ford, 4mer trucker and 7 others Thank this. -
Last I heard more people in Maine are on welfare than not.. I don't go to Maine but about 3 times in the last 4 years. That was more than enough. -

We had kielbasa filleted and grilled face down first, forgot to take a pic. Also corn on the grill, soaked and grilled in husk. That was pretty bangin. Next up is NY strips.

Maybe TMI but if you ever go: I grew up in Maine and worked at Pizza plus @95/295/turnpike split in S Portland. Trucks parked across the road in big dirt lot(its built up now) 4 hot dogs for a buck. 6 pk bud 1.89. Id get on radio w daily specials..... Paper, Potato, lumber and seafood are plentiful. Fryburg fair 1st week of Oct/awesome. Woodsman day(1st Mon) is something you will never forget. Summers obviously the best time especially if you like lobster, clams, boiled potato, corn all cooked together in a net bag. Cut it open on brown paper and chow down. Casco bay lines provides ferry service to islands for an inexpensive sight seeing cruise if your on a 34. ne parking is obviously an issue. Id recommend it in a 4 wheeler w family.
