I have a ge profile microwave/convection oven over the stove....it was fairly expensive when I bought it and use it ALL the time.

The microwave portion quick working a few years ago so I dug out our old thirty year old gold star microwave we had got for a wedding present in 1987 and have been using it.

Fast forward to this week I got tired off lack of light over the stove because I've never got a bulb to last more than a week in this oven. I found some led bulbs for it and still couldn't get them to work.....well I got to messing with it and got the light working. In the process I kicked on the microwave and thought it sounded like it was heating.

Mama was cooking rice in the old gold star and I needed to thaw some steak for fahitas....I'm gonna give the 'ol girl a try... it's working just fine.

Yeah I know...a long story to say my microwave works now.

Yep, though that mindset sounded familiar.

 

"1984" was required reading for us in middle school, then again in high school.

 

In the book Winston’s job, the main character, is to read over and change the words/whole events to historical documents to reflect the constantly changing Party’s political position; for example in a newspaper an ally to the party could be spoken highly of, but if turned traitor then the newspaper is then rewritten as if he never existed and/or was never an ally to the Party; another example is the constant changing of wars between the 3 different countries in the book, such as being allies with one country and enemies with the other, but then turned around saying the opposite and all the while nobody can say for certain what is fact because there’s no literature available that’s not controlled by the Party and freedom of thought is illegal.

Google, Apple, Amazon, any big business really, is what comes to mind; CNN, FOX, etc is the Ministry of Truth

I just spent like 5 minutes describing a book you already read LMAO you see that’s the problem I have with modern schools, even I never read this book and it’s a #### shame, now we’ve got these little monsters running around thinking trading their freedom for anything is okay

Walmart in Massillon you can try, I've overnighted there with no problems.

 

Also I would not try any of the truckstops around canton, they'll be full to the gills.
