More annoying than entertaining, some people really piss me off lol

 

I've got mixed feelings on that. On one hand, Canada wants to do everything it can to ####block our oil in Alberta, prefering to tanker oil here from the Middle East. So a pipeline down to the US would have basically been a giant middle finger to the rest of the country, which I'm all for

On the other hand, our oil seems to sell at a discount in the US. It'd be kind of nice if we had the ability to refine our own oil products here and become not only more self-sufficient, but be able to sell finished products instead of raw resources.

Edit: Worst part is, the entire country hates us and our oil industry, yet they have no problem taking our tax dollars thru equalization payments. I'd love to have a Premier with some balls that tells the rest of the country to FO.

 

Leftists have always depended on war to boost their economies, and as another excuse to grow government.

 

You really should know about Hoffa, at the least, its an interesting story.

 

Was a joke about the Great Depression and World War 2 that helped skyrocket us above everyone else; while everyone was putting their countries back together countries like Great Britain owed us enormous amounts of money, such as all those supplies, tanks, etc we provided; definitely not advocating another war on the bases of greed
