Picked up a 2' tall 15' tarp load this morning, delivers near one of our coustemers I have a pickup at. Delivered and beat feet over to get loaded.

Not ready! I reminded them that I need a whole day to travel the 755 miles to the 8 am Friday appointment. She looked at me like I was an alien.

Dropped trailerand went to the house for the night. Supost to be loaded and ready at 6 am

Oh, don't you just love crap like that? Sounds like you're gonna have to invent teleportation overnight...

Sitting at Midwest on the 44. Grabbed dinner at Dotties. Got a multi-stop, #### me, kinda load going to St. Louis for tomorrow... my final stop is in the hills to the west in Union.

They are always like that! All the house carriers run paper and just make it happen. One of the reasons I only do them if they can't get it covered with one of our other trucks.

They also put a second stop on this morning without asking me. Now I have a 8 am and 125 miles to a second stop in the middle of nowhere on a Friday. Not a good chance of getting another load on.

If it was just the 8 am I would of found something but now it's going to be sketchy at best.

    I hear ya, driver.

I knew going in this was a multi-stop load to St. Louis. What I didn't know was the fourth and final stop was actually in Union. Something around 120-150 miles from the stop before it.... gonna be a long Thursday.

I've always disliked St. Louis and Dallas/FW. Always multi-stop on the receiving end and I always manage to pull aluminum exstrusions or coils going out... wish Melton would invest in some curtain sides for all these exstrusion loads we do.

When most everyone’s on the electronic babysitters, they’ll get to figure things out the hard way.

You can get a blind mount with tow holes. Idk about Petes but my kw the tow hook needs the hole to be gouged out about 1/2" back or you can't get the pin in it bc of that difference in depth caused by the blind mount bracket mount.

I have to have the hole in the Peterbilt bumper to flip up the license plate. Otherwise my axx don't have enough to lift the hood.

With a 22 I'd have to have the fancy flip up bumper mounts...I have enough trouble remembering to put my axle down after I go around a corner.... That's a recipe do disaster....
