Where is everyone #5

Not completely true, a few years ago at Louisville the original engineers were there with the original pickup. I spent a good part of the morning talking and listening to them, it was very interesting. They came up with the idea and approached Cummins. Cummins sent over and engine and the worked on it. Someone specifically asked if Dodge owned any part of if because no other manufacturers stole it. He said that it was alway a joint venture and that Ford in fact used it in their bigger trucks. We used to have to F750’s with the 5.9 in them

 

That one has some modifications.....in the interest of saving space I'm sure.

Years ago I was sittin at as traffic light in my hometown and heard the distinctive sound of a 318 detroit. Looked around and no big truck anywhere.....then I saw it. A Chevy 3/4 ton with troit power on the tailgate. He had stuffed that 318 under the hood ! Couldn't tell except for the sticker on tailgate.

There's only 3 threads I play in anymore, myself. I close my eyes at threads like that......and say NOPE NOPE NOPE don't go there, Tom~!

 

That looks dang good. That's the kind of thing we like. Not heavy and make me wanna nap....

 

Had a pretty good weekend.... grandson's 3rd birthday party yesterday. Our youngest and his girlfriend spent the afternoon today.

Still need to throw my junk back in the truck for tomorrow...but the pool keeps calling my name...
