@AModelCat anyone who hears Metallica for the first time via The Black Album (or god forbid, The Garage) then listens to one of the first 3 will have this response, “My word, this is like Metallica, but it doesn’t totally suck! “

 

Coming across the Garage on tape was a great find back then. But Load concert, Reload concert, and Millennium tours were top notch in person too. And 1999 New Years Eve in the Pontiac Silverdom was lifetime epic.

 

One of my favorite Metallica songs was from one of those albums, The Unnamed Feeling, those two albums weren’t bad haha

Wait that was St. Anger; hmm, I could’ve sworn I liked a few songs from those albums...

Except "Kill 'Em All". That album is almost as bad as St. Anger.
