With no end in sight; if my truck isn’t out by Monday I’m gonna insist they just put me in a new truck!

 

What ended up being wrong with it ? They replacing the whole emissions system?

 

I have no idea, my driver manager hasn’t heard anything, they quoted me the end of the week and didn’t get it done... I imagine it’d be a better idea for Western to cut their losses with me and put me in a new truck rather than pay for a $100 hotel room until infinity hahaha don’t get me wrong I like being squeaky clean, but the party needs to end!

When I was 8 or so ('89) my cousin introduced me to Metallica via "Kill 'Em All".

I hated it.

Then, when the Black Album came out she gifted me a copy on cassette.

I wore that thing out. Loved it, then decided to dig back and also fell in love with Ride The Lightning and AJFA. Tried to revisit "Kill 'Em All" and still couldn't stomach it. Given it a lot of shots over the years.

Hetfield's vocals on Kill just aren't up to snuff and they're like nails on a chalk board to me. Lightning is where he started to not suck as a singer.

 

Okay I know I totally just ripped on “The Garage”, but I didn’t realize “Am I Evil” was from that album rofl I was referring to the more country oriented songs

 

Hell cuz one more week here they’ll have wasted my down payment on one

I guess you either love or hate the “nails on a chalkboard” sound haha I’d agree it’s completely different
