Im not saying she's an idiot, which she probably is. But those coke plants are 9.9/10x's bs. What should take them an hour to do, takes 3-5. Gotta learn that most times what you're told by an office jockey isn't always right. Never start your clock till you're as close to 100% sure as you can be that your clock won't get interrupted. That means call the place you're loading/unloading. Otherwise you end up sitting around burning your clock.

I had to set up my own rental car and then mine asked why I couldn’t get one today rofl maybe because they didn’t have any at such a short notice!

 

Well judging from that time I told you about when I went inside their new office in Nashville to get my IFTA stickers, they seem to simply be office people and I was definitely underdressed in my dirty overalls haha one woman looked like she was dressed to accept a Nobel Peace Prize, point is, they’re not truckers and many probably don’t have the experience you shown by calling ahead, only someone with personal experience out here knows how to, “play the game”

 

Just ordered food from a place called "The Chicken Shanty".

Hopefully I'm not disappointed.

Probably will be.

We'll see if it's any good. Decided to throw some money at a local joint instead of to one of the tried and true chains.

 

You know I think my next job will be house keeping at a hotel like this one because the cleaning lady is teaching me how to play the game; she knocks on the door and with a Spanish accent says “House Keepinggg!”, meanwhile I’m over here picking myself off the floor and trying to put my pants on to answer the door, immediately she knocks on the door again, I open it and she’s gone like Houdini

So The Chicken Shanty gets two thumbs up. Would have been better if the fries were warm, but that wasn't their or the delivery driver's fault.
