Ah Six, a mighty fine eye you have there .... it is in fact 56 ft closed up with the flip neck up (this one had the flip removed).

The steerable stretch - if big stretch loads in your living - would be the only way to go. Even if the payment was $1k different per month - the change in routing and decrease in tearing up equipment would be worth it.

I missed the post with a pic. I was just trying to figure out how a 53ft trailer (30 ft well) could stretch out 60ft in the well without falling apart. Ours could only get 50 ft.

The steering would make driving in tight areas a cakewalk. Without the steering, getting a 56ft rgn into places like oil refineries would nearly be impossible.

Been trying to find a donor truck for swapping out the fly by wire to the manual pump. Would make it much easier than having to fab up everything. Not having much luck. Gonna go take ride to port jervis huge mack junkyard there. Need either a CH or CL vocational truck. That's what all the full mechanicals were put into. Don't think mack ever offered full mech in the CH road tractors per EPA squeezing them.

    Never ceases to amaze me.

Can have a standard PNW deluge coming down hard, road spray so bad you can't see 50 feet in front of you, and people on the interstate are driving like lunatics..

A little snow in the mix, that's not even sticking? Roads just wet, not frozen? But... SNOW?

45mph in the left lane, white knuckle terrified.

Well been a wasted morning ! Got to the mine to load this 773b rock truck and not a soul around.....nada....nothing! Plus to top it off the outside duals were in the bed as I said no too. Few phone calls later and WV bound to move a couple dozers. Couldn't of got it out of the location it was at anyhow. The route had very low power lines and a RR bridge to go under. Found out they had the rock truck stripped down when they took it in there. Oh well $1500 Tonu for me !
