Don't go all the way to the 10 on 5, use the 215 across the L.A. basin all the way to the 10 out in Riverside.

The time difference in those routes is using posted speed limits...with a governed truck, 5-215-10 is the correct choice. Not to mention the closure of 80 on a regular winter season. You have a storm coming onshore....get those wheels down to Cali ASAP!

not that I wish to wield a proverbial red pencil, but......

I believe you mean the 210 - to get the 215 one would need to go 5-99-58-395-15-215-10

Good to see you’re still with us!

I definitely agree with the posted speed limit part, it’s a much more smooth ride

Why? U couldve take 84 out to i15 , to us6 to us 191 to 491 and picked up 40 from there. Way shorter than cali and way better route than 80 to 25... have taken it many times from south texas to portland..

U are better than me . I avoid cali at all costs .... The only big mountain on 84 is cabbage , which ur going up to its not that difficult... i15 is easy thru slc then u pickup us6 . There is no big pulls for the rest of the trip after cabbage that i can think of
