Where is everyone #5

Went to my oh so favorite town in SW Oregon today. The land of fruits, nuts, flakes and patchouli. Ashland. *hurk*.

Up some goat path with ductile iron pipe of various sizes (16 down to 4 inch), a couple pallets and a fire hydrant. Got lots of stink eyes from the residents of granolatown. "EEWW what's that big truck doing up here by the park and my expensive hillside house"

Made me wish for two things:

1) That I was able to go faster than 15mph

2) That I had some straight pipes with which to allow my jake to sing the song of its people.

Answering a glare with a wimpy muffled jake is so anti-climactic.

We rent a cabin north of Broken Bow every year. It’s quite a bit south of Tulsa though. Is that what you’re thinking about?

If you do haul them agian putting 2x4 under the front edge of the front 2 pallets as well as the back edge of the last 2 pallets leans them into the load .

Never mind the tall riding seat, weed burner exhaust, super singles, and emission motor that’s more gutless than a 80’s Beattle. And how could we forget about the Ongard that becomes covered with bugs and locks up on ya, slamming the brakes as you go down the road, or the camera that is a corporate safety nets wet dream. You mean to tell me trucking is FUN for you guys?! THERE IS NO SUCH THING AS FUN!!

 

That might be the place. My wife said our daughter and son in law went over there somewhere and rented a cabin. She thought it sounded like a good idea for us to do that. I do too.

 

Well we rolled up interstate 44 like a rocket sled on rails. We ripped our elogs from the dash and left them sitting on the scales.
