What?? I have taken that route maybe 100 times in winter... theres alot more mountains going thru cali then the route i said... plus u have to deal with la and phoenix traffic and all the bs in between.... No thank you... to each their own

 

I think I passed FloridaMan just now in his tent but I was too busy singing

 

I know where all the hill are, trust me. Running 84 over cabbage and the blues then Soldier in UT plus Moab, I have been both ways and run through California every time. Especially with his experience level - he still a fairly new driver. Go anyway you want, its your ship.

 

Actually I might take I-5 to 99 to 58 and then hit I-40
