Ummmmm How do you get rod and main bearings out of 2 wheel seals leaking

 

Was it you that bought that 660? Or am I thinking of someone else? It needs rods and mains?

Bearing discovery was part of other work I was having done.

Howd they decide that? First I've heard of anyone doing actual work to a paccar, most I've seen have just been R&R on the whole engine.

 

That wreck was bad. I have a feeling we had a o/o involved in it too.

The last 2 days, N Tx has been a mess. Cold and wet and slick. Took me 8hrs to get to Houston today. Im just now getting 49k lbs of sheetrock off the deck.

 

Same way you decide if any other engine needs new bearings. Find hints of excess wear in the oil during maintenance, investigate further.

It's too bad people can't just figure out that when there's adverse conditions that the only proper answer to the problem at hand is to slow down and quit driving in packs. Way too much of the "bad things only happen to other people, not me" mindset running around.

 

I can tell you a demandated and tuned MX13 gets well over 7mpg pulling heavy flatbed freight.

 

And no one will learn from this. Just look to blame whoever they csn.

 

Figured as much. Didn't know if they pulled the pan and found something else.

I can't get over 5.5 with ours pulling the welfare wagon. Think we found a way to tune it being an epa17 but haven't had a chance to try it yet.
