Nope I learned everything on my own, but never got into rifle shooting and I’m as new as it gets lol I’m trying what you recommend, it’s shooting better; this place is pretty sweet compared to the last

Small bore rifle. Air and .22. Nothing really exciting. Still, nothing more relaxing then when getting that zen feeling, when the whole mind and body is focused on reaching that singular moment.

 

I absolutely enjoy the heck out of skeet shooting. I suck at it anymore, but it's still a blast.

 

Breathing, sight picture, squeeze, follow through. Develop each then put them together. Then proper form for prone, prone supported, kneeling, standing, and standing supported.

All can be done at home with dry fire exercises.

 

I’ve been doing all those since I started, but I’m trying harder today haha I think you’ll like my 300 win mag shots later, my last group all hit within the inner red square and this last shot I nailed the bullseye

 

I was a state top ranked youth, (at that time it was under 21). The club wanted me to go national, then all the fun went away. Plus it was so expensive to compete at that level.

 

Oh it's gotten unreal anymore. These kids, or their parents rather, are spending upwards of 10 grand on an air rifle. Add in all the other gear and traveling expenses.... good grief.

 

Headed back to a truck stop. Different PFJ near the receiver. It's full, except for the reserved. Had to get creative for a parking place. That being said. Glad to see enough drivers are smart enough to park it in these icy conditions. Those roads are not in good shape to be driving on. I ran no faster than 40 on my way here. So now I wait till 1930 to head back over to deliver. They won't have room for my load till then.
