School then did teach all the kids too. But the 6th grade was responsible for it. But of course it was a school that had to smell cow sheet in the summer. Kinda feel it was the end of a Era. No longer a school.

 

Our principal was ex army. When we started raising the flag it was only a few years after 9/11. Same here about half the school was in the dairy or quarry business

 

@OLDSKOOLERnWV had to put the snow blower on the 448 Ingersol and chains. Been a few years. Slid her in the ditch up to the back fenders. Could not get it to pop back up on the road. But had the power to go thru the ditch to the neighbors driveway! Man, they are great little tractors.

 

I went to the first school building after the one room school houses. 3 miles from town, with farms all around. Dairy cows out back. Nothing to have one in the parking lot. Or middle of a ballpark during a game. Long gone now, only wish it was there for my child.

 

I been sweating my tail off in a wife beater putting in new cab mounts.. lol

Lol.... I just put the blower back on the 444 too!! Great little tractors for about any heavy duty yard work. Had to squirt some oil here and there since it hadn’t been used in a coupe years....
