That's exactly why you either go for something you can pay cash for, and at least be able to do most of the work yourself. The other option is new, with warranty. Either way the work has to be done, either wrenching, or trucking to pay for new equipment.

One of the biggest mistakes is that a lot of truck buyers fall into, is going for the 350k-500k mile truck. Truck payment, no warranty, and at the beginning of its first major maintenance cycle. There's a reason there is a glut of these trucks for sale.

Thinking and common sense get tossed for many when dollars and shiny is flashed in front of them.

Thank you! But, since you put it out there, what specific number represents “great” for you? Hehe

@TripleSix sounds like gyms could possibly re-open tomorrow for us after being closed for nearly 3 months. We surpassed the benchmarks laid out for re-opening weeks ago. I'm not putting much faith in that though since new cases have started to rise again the last couple days.

I guess I’m fortunate to be single and not having any major expenses, but even then a 40k truck is a lot! I’d have to put down at least half if I went that route; I gotta put this in my notes somewhere
