I've never heard of that. Front windshields are normal norman laminated windshield. I change a few a year. Cheep.
Drivers area side glass, and door glass is different, they are dual pane to prevent fogging.
Side glass is either laminated or tempered, depending on US state/provincial laws.
Windshield and rear glass are kick out.
Maybe coach bus glass is different? I doubt that too. Everyone I rode had cracked glass.
