I’ll have to look at the milk cartons at the truck stops from now on, “Missing: Last seen in the vicinity of a Stevens driver with goat and pot”

"Tonight on breaking news at 6. A semi tractor trailer was burned to the ground earlier when a man that is known by some, as 'bayouboy' decided to grill a hamburger inside the truck... authorities say they are not surprised by anything out of western express anymore"

There was a driver at the TA in BaytownTX that had a really good looking custom 379. Full on large car. He opened his hood to show off his engine compartment. We noticed that he had a front wheel seal leak. He put it in the TA shop. The tech took his truck apart and then told him that the spindle didn’t match their specs and they wouldn’t touch it. They wouldn’t allow someone else’s service truck on their property and wouldn’t allow anyone else to fix the truck on their property. They forced him to tow it to another shop. That’s an extra grand out of pocket.

I just want any owner op who’s needing repairs to know that TA has bonehead policies that can really hurt an unsuspecting owner op and cost an extra $1000-1500.

I'd tell 'em to put it back together with a new seal and that I'd be blocking the bay with my ### in a lawn chair until its fixed. It ain't leaving unless its under its own power.

I guess that all depends on what he signed before the work began. Read the fine print.
