I really wish companies had some sort of dress policy. A white tshirt, gym shorts and flip flops complimented by a backwards baseball cap is fine if you are 18 and hanging out. It has no business in a work environement when you represent a company to different customers. Rant over, let's truck it up.

It's the only zero turn I've owned but it rides alot better than the tractor style deere's I've always had.

The shocks are adjustable and I have no problem mowing at 12mph and my yard is far from smooth.

If you spend much time welding, you likely wear a ball cap backwards more than forwards. Of course jeans and steel toe boots generally go along with it. The gym shorts and flip flops would be a stretch....

Trust me, this guy isn't a welder. You would get a blank stare if you said mig, tig or arc to him. He is a co-worker and he doesn't carry any tools at all. He isn't the only driver we have that dresses like a slob, its actually fairly common nowadays.

Funny you mention the flip flops and shorts in the shop. I had a fellow come in looking for work dressed very similarly and wanted to know if he could take a test right then. I told him "NO!!!". He couldn't understand why. :banghead::banghead:

If someone comes in, even for an interview, in anything less than steel toes and jeans... I have a hard time taking them too serious. I know I need to lighten up a little bit, but...
