    @HillbillyDeluxeTruck what are your temps normally? I'm running around 230 or so and seems high. Or I'm used to dads paccar that runs about 210.

    You should be running at 190. Better make sure your gauge isn’t messed up.

    Whoa. Yea my truck runs 175 normally and was touching 200 yesterday in traffic in Dallas.

    It hovers at 190 when empty. 220-230 at 90k. I can kick the fan on manually and pull it below 200

    What does the guage sit at while idling?

    Know anyone with Cat ET software? You're in AR right? How far from Springdale?

    That guage has to be wrong. I think the fan is suppose to kick on at 217 iirc.

    180-190 idling. And about 3 or 4 hours.

    It's an aftermarket gauge so could be wrong too

    Oil temp hasn't gotten above 200

    Rolling down a relatively flat road it should not be running that hot. I would make sure the gauge is working properly, you can hook up a simple and cheap mechanical gauge to verify.

    When was the last time the radiator fins have been blown and washed out?
