Resale is such a low consideration when buying a 20 year old piece of equipment. Your either going to operate it till the end of its life, or keep forever.

 

18 Speed is Much Better...its not often that you need to split Lower Gears...But when ya need to it's a lot easier on the Truck...

 

Another sunny day... but no beach for me... decided to go to some places in Ipanema and back... on foot... walked 6.5 miles.... I like to walk...
This was my route... started at the black cross.. went thru 2 tunnels... the red arrows going from Copacabana to Ipanema... then, walked to Ipanema beach for a few pictures... the black arrows going back to Copacabana...

 

This the corner of Vieira Souto Ave. (Ipanema seashore) and Vinícius de Moraes St.
Vinícius de Moraes was the writer of that song, "Girl from Ipanema"
He was a regular at some bar in that street... All bars are closed due to Covid lockdown.





When I was a teenager, I used to go to that location on the beach Post 9.... where all the "cool" kids and "surfers" used to go...
Many singers and "artists" used to gather there too... it was a cool hang out spot...

 

Windy today... almost nobody in the water...

 

Tomorrow is National holiday in Brasil... Good Friday... Brasil is mainly Catholic country...

 

To get a haircut or not is the million dollar question. @farmerjohn64 thinks i look like kid rock
