    Is it an auto truck?

If so next time you have to get some work done see if you can get the tech to change trans to performance, fast shift speed, remove driver rewards, remove progressive shifting. Makes it a whole different animal.

I'd be mucho appreciative. I'm going to call some salvage yards around and see if they've got any good used ones. Try lkq and all that as well.

We really didn't see a lot of options in the transmission section of the ECM. But I'll double check next time. For the engine it had Max Eco, Eco 1, Balanced, Performance 1, and Max Perform. I chose Perform 1. Instead of going full balls out.

Itd be in the eaton program. You gotta change engine stuff in the engine software and trans stuff in the trans software. It's ignorant that they didn't develope software that could program them both simultaneously but it is what it is. We finally got the pete shifting the way we want. It's not a slouch any more, skips gears, and actually pulls hard all the way through.

As far as smooth take offs have it changed to blended pedal. That makes the throttle act like a clutch pedal. You ease on the throttle and it eases out of the clutch. You let off and does the opposite. It's way nicer to drive than creep or urge to move is. Alot smoother for small maneuvers as well.

This trans settings are 10x better than the stock choked down stuff your truck had originally. I used to manually shift before and now it shifts the way I would so I never bother with manual mode anymore.

Mama found out she got her job permanent that's she's been doing temporary since her boss retired. Went out to the restaurant in our nearby town...first time in a year.

Ran into to a friend of ours. His dad passed away last week. He was fighting cancer and passed three days after he got the shot.

This was the the father-in-law of one my best buds that passed a few years ago. He drove a big truck for Pepsi until he retired....never heard a negative word come from him and was always happy. His boy told us he was the same right to the end... wanted to know how everyone was.

Rip Gene.....first thing I told Rob was your dad was a good man.

So it's new enough it still just trees on google earth lol..

Nothing special, just a loves with a Hardee's. But had many open spots until the wee hours, & don't think it even filled up.? Going east there was a rest area maybe 3-4 miles past it, then not much that I know of till the stop at Monteagle, which is always full up early..

Slade is one of those groups that NEVER gets any mention in any conversation about classic rock and ZERO AirPlay. How about this one?
