Small world. I made many trips to Memphis and Birmingam on that 78. Man you ain't kidding, those bridges were scary. Somebody got killed 2 or 3 times a week on it.

 

Me and dad used to stop at Flick's Truck Stop in Potts Camp. That place had some good breakfast. The sign on the hwy looked like a curse word because of how close the L and I were.

 

Not sure if old Plow Girl was working there then. She was always on the c.b. radio talking bout that banana banana banana puddin.

"If you don't like your waitress, or you think she is ugly, we will put a sack on her head baby" come on down to Flicks Amoco!!

And we're out of gumbo in the freezer....I need to put the stuff for that on the shopping list.

 

I managed to break my tablet today. Had to update the old zoom to close out my logs. Now I have to decide if I want to order parts or replace it.

 

We split a platter with, fish, crab cake, shrimp, and a couple other things. We had alligator for appitizer, it was good.
