Well, actually it’s solid rods used to make shafts, drill collars, and the such.
When I drop it off it’s a lot shorter. They heat it up and forge it out making it longer and smaller in diameter......Brettj3876, Rocks, Nostalgic and 8 others Thank this. -
So......... just warm it up a little bit, pull on it, and it gets longer ?? LolBrettj3876, Wasted Thyme, beastr123 and 8 others Thank this.

Gonna throw out a short answer before I hit the road.
I talked to the VP yesterday and got "we've been having this issue, the rate the dispatcher tells you has the fuel surcharge built in, so when you get your settlement, we take the fuel surcharge out, take our cut and then give you 100% of the fuel surcharge back". EG:
Dispatcher: It pays $1750
Me: Ok sounds good
Settlement $1504.xx+ $195.xxfsc + $50 tarp pay = $1750.
They take their cut out of the $1504.
I think its bs. We think we're being told the rate without the real fuel surcharge (so $1750 + X), they give us what they think is a fair fsc (not the full amount) then take that out of our rate, then give us "100%" of the fsc back. If not, our rates are really poor and not only are we being screwed, so is the company. But they haven't been in business for as long as they habe by not making $.Brettj3876, Flint1, Lysdexis and 4 others Thank this. -

So quick check this morning on my fan issue. Unplugging the coolant temp sensor on the front of the thermostat housing does nothing. Key on or off. Which according to what I've been able to find should default the ecm to 194 degrees and engage the fan in the event of a sensor or wire failure.
Since this does nothing I believe my fan circuit has been hacked up and this is the root of the issue. I'll just have to figure out the pin number and see if I have connection between it and the pigtail at the sensor.Brettj3876, cke, Eldiablo and 3 others Thank this.
