Where is everyone #5

Yeah, our backyard is on a public course. We rent the duplex here. I worked at that course for eight years before I started driving truck.

 

Never pictured it looking something like that! Guys would bust stuff just to see it

 

Great view... From working at a golf course to driving a truck... quite a change, huh?

 

I was actually just looking to see what a used 14 foot body goes for. About $10k but no crane. The crane doubles it lol.

 

I miss the golf course. I actually enjoy the manual labor. It’s just not mowing grass like everyone thinks. Irrigation lines break, fix drain tile, build tees, bunkers, greens. But I maxed out their pay scale, I don’t have a college turf degree so I couldn’t go to a Country Club. Degree trumps experience.

So a lot of places were hiring CDL drivers so I went and got it and fell in love with it. I enjoy what I do, absolutely.

 

"You enjoy what you do"... that's the recipe for success... trucking has people from all walks of life... and flatbed is definitely very interesting... not only the diversity of loads, the places and the people you meet... More power to you!

Seems kinda quiet in here? Where's everyone? Was there another purge I wasn't aware of?

 

I'm still around. Just digging through Google results trying to find wiring diagrams or how this thing works

 

Watching interview on YouTube, had pasta, sorting paperwork... planning my day at the beach tomorrow... going to bed soon... it's past 1:00hr here in Rio...
