Apparently they're planning checkpoints on the BC/AB border.

 

Sounds like BC doesn't want anyone entering the province.

 

So your buddy ditched you?

 

Haven't been using any mass transportation n walking many miles everyday...
Just walked in front of the Guanabara Palace, which is the Rio de Janeiro city Mayor's office..

 

Took a short detour just to take a picture of the so called "famous" Sugar Loaf Mountain where all the tourists must visit whenever they come to Rio...
A cable car goes from the bottom to the lower hill and another from there to the higher one.





Friends n I climbed that lower hill on foot back in the 80's...
And back then, there was a nightclub up on the top of the higher hill.. I used to go on Saturday nights...
Don't know what is up there now...

 

Rush hr here now.... however traffic is not as intense as it used to be before COVID





These trees are everywhere... they are called "jaqueira" tree and their fruit is huge... called "jaca"... if one of those big ones falls on your head, it may hurt you and make a big mess...

 

Gotta keep moving now... later

 

Is the fruit any good to eat @Rocks ?

 

It's edible... but too sweet IMO..

 

It must be the 18:00hr mass at this Church...
