It's funny to go back and watch some of that stuff. I look at how grainy it is and think...man, I can do better than that on my phone....lol. I tried to watch he-man aswell. Starting to think he was gay.

 

I met a guy that put a window unit in the back wall of his sleeper. He used angle aluminum for the support structure, made rubber gaskets for the inside and outside, stainless trim outside and wood panel trim inside. He said it was pretty easy to do.

Hot sunny day his truck was nice and cool inside, while my APU could barely keep the bunk tolerable.

 

I'm thinking of going the roof mount route myself. Need to get my truck a/c going first though.

 

Great scenery for a leisurely ride. Suprising amount of people there. Still less packed than the river valley after 1 pm.

80’s television was extremely fruity. And the 90s started the emo craze. All of your heroes and villains had to be angry at the world and have a soft side at the same time. And today, everyone is fragile and delicate.

 

Search the forums here. There's a few that did the window unit mod and there's one that did a mod with a mini split.

 

There's a shop in OKC that quoted me $1900 installed for a roof mount a couple years ago. At the time it was a pretty good price.
