When we just put them JW Speaker highs in Ol Buck, it also came as a 3 prong. The Sylvania sealed beam was a 2 prong. The truck side female plug did have the slot to accept the ground on the bottom, even though it's a blank & not really making a ground there..

Also was wired backward, & had to swap the left & right blades around on the headlight side..

 

Almost considering upgrading the inverter to bring it along in the truck. So far the instapot and electric skillet have been enough...but....

 

Oh..... have a Case 300 Roundnose like on the show Lassie, that’s on the build list too...

Sounded to me like you've grasp on the inner workings of them 2 stroke Detroit's like none other..? Could make a real runner out one!!

 

My folks have had an old Case VAI for years. Tires and rims are FUBAR due to age but I bet it'd still start and run. I'd like to restore it but it needs a lot of work.

Well, big changes in life ahead for me. Since I quite my day job, I no longer have an ample amount of time. I went from working 2 weeks a month to 3.....ugh. so, I'm selling all my toys. Mostly because I won't have the time to use them. Also, found out yesterday that my "neighbor " is going to start sectioning of his land. So, I'm about to live in a friggin subdivision in the middle of nowhere. Folks in Idaho have been seeing green with all the left coasters moving in. So they are all selling off land like crazy. Then want to complain about all the changes. Grrrr. Anywho. We are now giving alot more thought to permanently expating and retiring.....again. going to do some updating to the houseand make a decision by the end of the year. Suck, we just moved here. I hate people. I'm going to end up with a bunch of prius driving a%%hats surrounding my place. Grrrr

 

My Aunt and Uncle are selling their place in Post Falls. Been getting some pretty crazy offers.

They're leaving Idaho to, in their words, "Get out of this intolerant right wing utopia" (meanwhile they're some of the most intolerant people I know)

 

I hear you and sympathize with you.... things change as time changes and when that happens, it's time for one to change too... nothing is forever... You are not in a bad situation if you can retire and live comfortably... When you say "expat", you mean moving abroad or to another state?

 

I think it is amusing that all the liberals are fleeing blue states like the plague and moving to red states. Because of that, everything we love about this place is changing and becoming very expensive.....fast. idaho will be blue within 5 years and I don't want to be around to see it. Sad
