Where is everyone #5

Bikes have been slim pickings around here the last 2 years. When I picked mine up last month there was nothing in the price range I was hoping to spend. Ended up spending more than I planned. No regrets about it though.

In the 30 minutes I was at the store I saw 4 or 5 $2500+ bikes roll out the door. Even most of their regular stock order bikes had already gotten deposits put down on them.

Finally got a buffer. Never going back to hand polishing again. One of those cheap ball ones for now but it works pretty good after you get it soaked.

Just order the parts and put it together yourself. You get a much better bike at a much better price. You get what you want up front vs spending money twice by upgrading components on a compromise bike. Put something nice together over the course of the winter and have something nice come spring. Just a thought. You can never have enough bikes.

 

You guys suck. I went out and bought a new polishing kit. Peer pressure.....gees. next thing you know, I'll have to paint the Dang thing.

Ah no I'll pass on the offer. Did you do a germination test on em. It would be nice if they're sterile.

Same time his soon to be wife Renate, (my grandma, they meet 1950 Hoboken, NJ) was 12yrs old & forced into a Hitler youth camp for girls. Her father was in the SS calgary, one of about 6000? soldiers to come back to Germany alive from Stalingrad..

She is my WWII relic. Last one remaining in my family. Still getting stories out of her.. lol
