That stuff is so strong... I doubt anybody were able to eat 1/4 of it... It's pure sugar in its strongest form. It can be diluted in water and turn into molasses... it can be used for making any kind of food...
This is also another thing they make when preparing the rapadura... it's soft but it becomes hard later on...
See the ladies pulling both ends of that gum and stretching it...







That is sugar cane "candy" as they call it... It's molded into a long or twisted shape and it can be mixed with other ingredients and used in making and decoration of cakes and pastries...

 

Nope, load canceled this am. Then I got the "hey buddy I have a hot one to make up for it" call. Just had to work all shifts today.

 

Spiders:1 me:0 Lol. Putting clothes in the dryer I felt something land on my neck and swatted at it. Big ### spider. Least it wasn't pregnant, years back I squashed one and a million babies came exploding out.
