What brand is that? The rails look similar to the Reese I had, but everything else looks different.

That wasn’t mine just one I wanted. This is my father in laws truck he inherited from his late brother. It’s a 95 3/4 ton, I don’t have a truck so I’ve been getting this one up to snuff. He has a small fifth wheel camper and had no way to pull it. We bought the hitch on Craigslist and I got the rails at redneck. Turned pretty good, tomorrow I’m going to wire it and test it out.

It’s a Reese, 20K. The rails are just generic from Redneck.

Ah ok. I have that same setup in my pickup to pull the camper like the one you installed.

I don't care for the bolted down rails cause when I want to slide things in my bed it hits them and are in the way.

If I did it all over again I would install that B and W Companion.

I have one that attaches to the gooseneck ball. I needed it to pull a camper for one of my employees, but he has moved on ( in medical school). It is just sitting in my shop collecting dust now. If anyone is interested let me know.

When I get a nice truck I’m going to do that or maybe put on a gooseneck adapter.

It fits over a gooseneck ball?

It feels like there's more to the story behind that....

Yes. It is a bit cumbersome to put in and out but not bad.
I'll run out and take a picture.
