Well C’mon let’s go......

 

You clearly didn't get my order huh? Steak and eggs would have been nice this am.

 

I tried to get steak and eggs last week, but sit down service is getting harder and harder to find, even if you're sitting in an open restaurant.

Loaded up the cart for beef-it's-what's-for-dinner week. Ribs or a roast is next.

 

Kind of like other things, it didn't hurt much during, but I paid for it after lol. Still worth it, even with totally forgetting my pan of sautéed mushrooms and onions.

 

Gonna get toasty today , high of 90°. Time for the steel toe flip flops.

 

I have a theory on that. I bet restaurants make way more by offering pickup and delivery only. Not having to pay multiple servers $15/hour every day probably adds up to a significant amount by month's end.

 

They don't do tip share North of the border?

 

They can't find enough people willing to work. When the gubbermint is willing to pay you to stay home and make baby daddies, why would you want to go serve people? With the workforce in play NOW, about 60% of them are visibly annoyed that you, the customer, is there ruining their time.

 

Yes it’s getting really bad.

At a fast food place trying to order the other day. Sign said lobby closed because of lack of employees. Sign on the drive through said please be nice to out remaining staff. Wouldn’t serve me at the walk up window.


Walk across the parking lot to the next place and there drive through is closed but the lobby is open.....

Hamburger joint across the street from the house closed a couple weeks ago. Went in and he wait staff was crying about not being able to find a cook and they were going to lose there jobs.
Ummm go in the kitchen and cook.....


Nope closed down the next day. Been 3 weeks. Was a nice place too.
