Mine tops out at 40psi or so....but that isn't normal. I get 587hp at the wheels. I don't know what that equates to at the crank though.

I'm bringing it home tomorrow and am going to check the CAC. I've got a fuel pressure gauge coming on the 3rd.

Supposed to be 500hp, which I feel like should make more than 20psi with an unrestricted waste gate.

If the cooler holds pressure and all the clamps and boots check out good what am I looking at checking next?

Yeah, you should be doing better than that. Might check the gauge aswell....might be reading wrong. If it is your cac or boot, you can usually hear it in the cab. Good luck

Edit: sorry...I don't know how I missed you had a gauge coming. I suck

I wish you were right, but elections say otherwise. Don't feel bad. Friggin Boise elected an openly socialist mayor....
    Suck

Gauge that's ordered is a fuel pressure gauge, was running really high pressures at idle and haven't been able to borrow the gauge again to check it after hopefully fixing the reason so I ordered one. It just hasn't made it.

I don't hear anything that sounds like blowing air but I also may not be able to hear it over the exhaust. I only hear the turbo spool up and the exhaust.

Once I pressurize the cac if it checks out I'll pressurize the whole system and see if the gauge in the dash reads the same as the gauge on the tool I build to test with.
