Wife has a CACHE of'em.. Want some?!?!?! Seriously??? I bet they do; just pricey imports!

 

Yeah, they're trying to be like that board on that TV show for hotshots, I can't remember the names of right now. Basically they want to create a system where truckers would bid against each other for freight, biggest DB lowballer wins.

 

When I was a kid I loved creamed corn, probably cause its sweeter. Don't really care for it now, unless it's mixed with peppers and such to make it spicy.

 

Wife calls that 'Spanish Corn' ... idk she's Eyetalian, but ... it's good like that! Red & Green bell peppers, and any others!

 

Throw in some jalapeños or crushed red pepper. Or if you're feeling brave, there's a chille pepper called the viper.

 

I can eat them... but I don't like brussels sprouts...

Here are a couple of vegetables I haven't ever seen in America...

Maxixe (Marron cucumber?) Some are greener than others...



Jiló (scarlet eggplant?)



The yellow ones were getting old... This green one had some bugs inside... but that means, no pesticides...



The broccolis I buy at the street marked here are so big... I don't remember seeing stems that thick anywhere else before...

 

How'bout Ghost Pepper? Yeah, nope! Wife saw something on the 'net about some office chic put GHOST PEPPER POPCORN (Jiffy style) in the microwave at her cubicle/work break room, and they had to EVACUATE!! No JOKE! (Found it...)

Shaved broccoli stalks are a great seasoning for some Amish soup here.....that one YOU have would be a delicasy! Do y'all have Carambola's over there, too??? Miss those.

 

I feel like the grill makes a lot of things delicious that one would normally turn their nose up at.

 

Absolutely yes sir! Carambola and so many other fruits considered exotic in other countries...



Price there is R$14,00 (Reais) per Kilo which is be less than U$3.00.
Other fruits here I don't even know their names...







This one is the caju. The nut on top is the cashew nut that is sold in the US...
