Another thing.. I haven't ever seen sweet corn in Brasil...
All corn sold here is not sweet and folks cook it with salt and pour butter on top...
Asked people here about sweet corn... and they were like... Maybe I should ask someone at the street market next time... if I remember...

 

And further up than that. St Lawrence county has quite a lot. Jefferson and Lewis county has a fair share. Much further south the property values get higher. Although I did attend a tax auction in Oswego county and watched 4 men in Amish plain blue clothes carry a wooden chest from a buggy into the building. Iirc they bought a 200 acre old dairy farm for about 70k$ cash.

 

Huh, I don't know anything about it. My wife just brought it up to me. I didn't know hotshots had a TV show either, I'm not a big TV guy. Still though, things are changing fast and it is good to have options. Whether good or bad, competition in the market place is a good thing. I think we need more brokerage options. I don't always agree with the options, but the more the merrier. Alot of folks have changed though, heck, jb has their own load board now aswell. I've never looked at it, but it is cool that it is there.

 

Wouldn't it make more sense to just remove the microwave, vs posting a sign on an unusable microwave? Must be an office thing.

 

Yeah up in my area the different groups are noticeable by the buggy. Some use a lantern hung off the side and others use the orange triangle on the back.
Neither is great because every year a half dozen horses die but usually the humans are ok.

I don't know... field corn... dent corn... What is the difference? Where does the sweet corn come from? I know the corn we buy here is not sweet...

 

I went until I was [this many years old] before I found out that cashews had apples attached to them.

I guess they bruise easily and go bad quick, which would explain why they aren't marketed? Still, I've never even seen cashew apple juice?

I'd get a head of that cabbage, a cucumber, tomatoes, and make a salad; THEN, take the eggplants and make EGGPLANT PARMESAN (with marinara sauce, over pasta, with ANY cheese of choice!

They don't bruise quickly... One can buy caju juice in Brazilian food markets in the US...
