Right. But ag commodities have a separate exemption that is 150 air miles from the source of the load.

I could be mistaken, but my interpretation is anything within 150 Air Miles from the home terminal (house). So, if I stay within that radius to load, unload, re-load, I'm ok (within the 12 hour limit). If I intend to go outside, I just use paper logs ('89 truck) for that trip...

 

Problem solved.. talked to a driver where I was... and we agreed on a price much cheaper that what cabs were charging....
He took me to a bus terminal in downtown Rio...
Here I am now...

 

Yes, but that is only during harvest season and it starts where you load at. However, if you operate outside your 150 mile radius from home, you have to log it on the eld if yours is so equipped if you leave that radius for more than 8 days a month.

 

If it were a little later I might go walk around Lapa... place nearby full of bars and show houses... people gather on the streets drinking, singing, dancing, free fun... Today is Friday... that place might get full tonight... but maybe later.. I am going back to the apt.. getting hungry and don't want to eat out.

 

Not yet sir.... went there today just to get some info in person and check a few things... there has been some changes since last time I flew from Rio to the USA.
Haven't bought my ticket yet. Still dealing with some things here...

 

Now in the bus heading to Copacabana... This kind of bus costs 3 times more than a regular bus but it is pretty empty n that's the only reason I take it. Trying to avoid crowded buses.

 

14 hour now from domicile terminal that you normally report to at the end of your shift.
