That is the way I understand it unless it is harvest season, then it is 150 miles from where the product is picked up. Heck, If all else fails, pick up the phone and call the port and ask.

 

Some states like Arkansas harvest starts Jan 1 and goes to Dec 31. I'm not too worried about the definition

 

Read the ag exempt reg..... You can run all over the country as long as you dump and reload within 150 mile radius.

As long as your dump and reload aren't more than 150 miles apart you can can go from here to the coast without logging

 

That's so they don't have to write a proclamation for harvest season. Missouri is the same so you can haul 88k all year long.

Iowa still writes one every fall

 

It was also for qualification for the ag exempt rule. Iowa just didn't raise the weight limit like others.

Correct, that is the way I understood it aswell...as long as it was during harvest. Brother I don't know who is right or wrong. I wouldn't risk a ticket over a couple of guys on the internet though. I would call a port and ask. Heck, it's worth 10min of your time....right? Then you can come back and say who was right/wrong if you want.

 

Was that the brakeline issue from last week or a new one?
