That looks real nice SAR. Need pics of the front when you get it done.

 

Right now the coax is in close proximity to the satellite junction box so running any power was messing up the tv making it change channels. And since I don't have any ground radials or counterpoise, I put an rf choke on it.

If you look at the tilt over picture closely you will see it. Its directly underneath the antenna, I just have it attached and isolated with a few pieces of foam between it and the mast and blue painters tape to secure it temporarily.

Daniel Horvat makes the choke, it can handle up to 3kw, and now there is no more interference. And my coax is five feet from the satellite. His website is my antennas dot com. If I was having any issues in the truck I would do the same to this antenna but its issue free so far.

 

A nice, pleasant change from all the drab grey skies and rain yesterday.
