@farmerjohn64 you out of Chicago yet? I will be running through there tomorrow along 80. I can pick you up and we can go to 2 lanes house. Just make sure we don’t drive in his front yard.

 

You should crimp the ends of your bungess. That will prevent them from digging into your tarp and making holes.

Bout 2 weeks yeah. Empire chrome has that bumper on the shelf for 370. Almost went and got one since i was unloading a couple miles away. Was gonna try and grab some spikes from them. Might nab one off each drive till I get some replacement ones

 

Ah where were you 4 days ago huh? Well they are crimped MORE now because I failed the 1st time around.
The crimping was a win tho. I was at a rest area off I80 and I had the absolute most abduction worthy 40 year old driver walk over to help me out.
Luckily no candy or zipcuffs in the truck and No drivers have gone missing... But it was a fun thought while it lasted. And the tarp looked better when he was done demonstrating his ideas.

 

Rofl I made it all the way to Beckley, WV from there with about 40 minutes left and no ###### clue where to park, but don’t worry I’m illegally parked in a group of other trucks who decided to extend the parking spaces at a travel center

 

I think I've managed to stop there twice at right moment at like 12:03pm to grab an open spot and a cup of coffee. Other than the adult store somewhere around the VA line, there's not many late day options between Mt Nebo and Wytheville.
