I don't trust these new trucks. I would love to buy a new truck, I just can't see spending around $200k on something that I don't trust! When and if they get all the bugs worked out I'll buy one, until then though, I will keep pouring money into mine. Or until I find a sweet, stretched out K100 Aerodyne with a KTA in it......lol

So with us returning to the "old" normal in less than a week I figure I should get out and find some people to hang out with and stuff to do. How'd you folks find out about events and stuff like that back in the day? I don't do social media anymore so I've got to old school it I guess. TripleSix suggested a while back to find a bar or 2 to frequent. Might start heading to the local pubs next week and see what comes of it.

Dad's 18 579 seems to be doing great at 600k miles. Had some constant regens that ended up being the thermostats. Replaced those and not an issue since. From what I gather idling is what causes the most issues. Looks like that won't be an issue with you.

I can't sleep if I'm hot so I idled all the time. Truck never shut off until I was back home. When I get this one ready to go over the road once I get a cushion built up I'll get an apu or more likely a small generator hung on the frame and do the small window unit under the bed for air and throw on an espar for heat in the winter. Let then gen run to keep the batteries up and the unit circulating the air.

Trying to find someone on Facebook to possible swap me tanks so I can get some room on the frame to do that eventually.

All else fails I'll find some pete tanks to put on it since I have to change brackets anyway to put fatter short tanks on.

Last I heard it was still going to be essential only for awhile. Sucks!

In over 30 years I've only crossed over the border once. I can wait a few more months lol.

I've been wanting to take a trip from Washington along the northern states and then pop up over in Western Ontario. Maybe take a detour down into Yellowstone.
