Actually I've kinda been liking the "chino" cut stacks lately.? The tall ones are slick too, but if I go that tall, how will I soot up the customers freight for them..? Lmao![]()
JK, but reality is I park at my house where I'm blatantly not supposed too, and there are some low trees on the way in. Stacks are 11', & cb whips are 12'. Surprised I haven't broke a whip off going home yet.. lol
Cartersville GAIts not that bad lol
Just being a cheapskate & easing my way to the home 20. Got 2 stops about 110 miles North of home & didn't feel like racing down, getting home at midnight only to backtrack up next morning..

& you ain't wrong about another drive axle.. Been doing some think'n. Don't like that, makes my head hurt.. lol

How about a lift axle? You get the best of both worlds that way, except for a power divider.OLDSKOOLERnWV, Eldiablo, PoleCrusher and 7 others Thank this.

Right about now, I wish I was a "punk kid" again, especially if I knew then what I know now, but alas, it's not to be. Enjoy your time now while young, for it waits for no one. You'll be old & cranky like me soon enough. Listen & think more & talk less. OK, I'll show myself out now...OLDSKOOLERnWV, Eldiablo, Hurricane69 and 13 others Thank this.

I like that idea as well, cause the plan isn't really to start trucking anything heavy.? Just if I get in a tight spot, I'll have more options to get me back to better paying freight..
I messed up with the stretch.. only went 36". Should have went 42" minimum IMO.
The way I read it, 40" minimum axle spacing to be considered a tandem to get 34k lbs. Had I went 42" or 48", the old airliner holes would line up perfect for a pusher. Theres just so many holes that will need welded or patched up. Plus I'd be a tiny 180 something wheelbase with the pusher down.. lol
Pusher is not totally out of the cards yet, but boy can I get a steal of a deal on that old cut off!!

I’ve been driving another kind of tractor all summer.
Canadian government finally implemented its Elog law. For the longest time we didn’t know what model years would be affected now we do....MY 2000 and up.
I’ve been asking after this truck for several years looks like it’s finally on the block after it’s life as a RV hauler and billboard. 1998, 12.7 L 430/500 DD60, 13spd, 3.90, 260” wb, tall rubber, literally covered in wrap.Last edited: Jun 27, 2021

That black one is fine looking ride if you don’t mind the Detroit engine.Eldiablo, singlescrewshaker, Rocks and 8 others Thank this. -
Another thing is tolls, unless you actually get charged for all 5 axles where you usually run instead of just the 4 on the ground.Lostkeys, singlescrewshaker, PoleCrusher and 6 others Thank this.
