Where is everyone #5

Rough day here also, Hot , very hot. Carrier bearing went out quickly today, no warning except the last 10 miles. So, lucked out found a bearing from another Driver and replaced it on the side of the road, one hot job it was. Anyhow, got the job done and the shower felt awesome. Hope you Guys had a better day.

 

Parts should start coming in this week. They won't start work till everything is there. They're not replacing the whole hood, just the right fender. With a whole lot of luck, we'll get her back at the end of the week.

 

Wait a minute.. you are not a workaholic, are you?
I know it's none of my business but the way you have been working so hard and for so long, if you don't have a large family depending on you, retirement should be possible... and or a nice vacation once in a while...

 

Why retire, most people wither up and die right after retirement. Why retire.

Tonight's creation..




Mama was home for a hour or so and hit the hay.....she has to go to dubuque tomorrow.

I took a some blue pills....my back is screaming at me.

 

That's because most people center their whole life around work. Once the work is gone, they've got nothing else. I've seen it alot. Most folks don't have hobbies or interests really. Their lives revolve(d) around work. It's pretty sad. Had alot of folks I've known retire to die shortly after. They literally just sat on the couch and waited for death because they didn't have anything else to do. What little they did have, they did pretty quick.

 

I'm gonna eat and watch the tonight show with Johnny Carson...... Jim Fowler is supposed to be be on. Then I'm hitting the hay too.
