What you said is kinda sad...
I don't know about most people... it depends on each one... I know some people wouldn't know what else to do... But others might enjoy resting more and or doing something different as they grow older...
My dad and my mom still lived many happy years after retirement...
There should be no reason for one to wither and die right after retirement...

 

I second that...

 

I would say, if you plan on retiring, have a goal of what to do after retirement, something that you also enjoy and stay active.

 

And would they "obey" you if that were the case?

 

Retire? I will never make it that far!

Side note, 2.5 weeks around the shop will make anyone wanna go drive truck. But we are coming along.

 

Back at yea. To bad I don't have one of these in the big garage.

You know, I never thought I would make this old... but here I am...
Sometimes I feel as if I were already retired.. and then, I am back doing something...

 

All the chemicals, heavy metals, fire smoke I've eaten an absorbed into my body. The sports, and partying at a young age. I have my doubts ill see a very long life. But didn't think I'd make it to this point. Lol
